A pearl for friends of architecture and art. The location of the museum with a view over the city is fantastic. The gastronomy: excellent and with a very good price/performance ratio.
Admission is free. As usual for L.A., it is easier to reach by car.
A highly recommended excursion that you should allow at least 4 hours for.

One of the best museums I ever visited! Exhibits are diverse and very engaging, the Southern California view is unmatched. Plus a very beautiful garden. There are also many amazing photo spots!

My goodness, this place is huge! I'm going to have to come back because you can't get through it all in one day. There is so much to see. It is amazing that a lot of the paintings here have held up so well considering how old some are. There are certain exhibits that do change every so often. The garden area is beautiful and serene. When you arrive, you do have to pay for parking, they also do bag checks before you are able to get on the monorail that takes you to the museum.
