I have been a member of the Green Yogi for over four years. For me it is an anchor in community- I have made so many friends through this space, met inspiring instructors, and grown spiritually and physically - especially helpful in navigating the pandemic. The owner has created a dynamic of many different kinds of yoga, a deep schedule and an excellent variety of instructors while weaving core values of openness, curiosity and support.

My usual go-to studio in downtown Berkeley recently closed so I was on the hunt for a new studio and The Green Yogi did not disappoint! A beautiful space in a beautiful neighborhood. I also love that a membership gives you access to classes at both locations (MLK and Telegraph) so there are so many class options/timings. Safe to say I found my new community!

By far the best yoga studio in the Bay Area. Both Green Yogi locations have a great mix of styles, teachers, and formats that really work for every body. I started going weekly and now go almost daily. I've noticed such a positive impact on my body and outlook on life. I love that I can take a strong practice with Monika or slow down with some Yin in Carly's class. What sets this studio apart is the emphasis on community. Whether you're a beginner stepping on the mat for the first time or have been practicing asanas all your life, this is the most welcoming, dynamic, and mindful studio you can find in the East Bay.
