If I could give less than 1 star, I would. If you love your family member, do not put them here. My friend was an amazing, vibrant, articulate woman. The engaging social activities are what attracted her to the Hampton at Salmon Creek and it was close to family and friends. It seemed like the perfect place, but she soon met her death after a brief stay here. This facility provided the opportunity for her to fall out of bed by not putting her bedrail up resulting in a serious head injury and lengthy hospital stay. When she was released from the hospital and returned to this facility they immediately allowed her to fall forward out of her wheelchair resulting in a frontal and terminal head injury. Weak as she was, and just returning from her hospital stay, they did not strap her into her wheelchair. Unfortunately this injury killed her. Don't let the appearance or the promotions of this facility fool you --it's a facade for their lack of care.
Response from the owner Su Mu, on behalf of The Hampton at Salmon Creek Memory Care Community I am sorry for the low rating. Our number one priority is the care and comfort for our residents, and if we can serve you in any way, we would be grateful if you would call Kim our Executive Director.
Response from Su Mu She is gone. On behalf of all who loved her, the number one regret is the decision to put her in your facility. I'm sorry the rating could not be lower but it serves as a warning to others.
I only had my step dad at the Hamptons for about two months as he passed away after a brief illness. During the time he was there I was very impressed with the compassionate care he received. It is a very clean and pleasing environment
