I live in the complex behind this house. When we first moved in we were told by our landlord that our visitors could park in the Covington house lot because our complex has no visitor parking.
The other day a lady who said she was the president of the association that owns the house came and asked residents for information on who was parked in the lot.
She looked at my roommate's car, which was parked in her own spot, and nowhere near the landmark and said " You have such a nice car, I would hate for it to get towed, so don't park out there. " The next day when I left for work, vehicles were getting towed from the lot. I'm not reporting this because my car got towed. We only have one car, and we always park in our own spot... Nothing ever happens at that house. It's just a little house with a giant parking lot. It's owned by the city of Vancouver, and you'd think that this association that only uses it on occasion could share some of that space.
If you look at the website, it's closed for all but 2 hours of the week. You can only view it by appointment, so it's not like people are causing it to lose business by parking there.
