49 minutes I waited for ONE sheet of backer board that apparently they needed to pull from the back. Ten minutes… fifteen minutes, cool no worries. Forty?! Jokes on me I guess because I’m the idiot who waited 30 minutes before complaining because I didn’t want to drive across town. It wasn’t busy, multiple employees were standing around. I will never patronize this store again. Customer service was polite when I inquired if we had been forgotten and the employee was completely pleasant but holy hell, I don’t know how complicated it could possibly be to retrieve, even if they used a forklift.

Thanks for being my trash can, recycle bin, bathroom, and one-stop shop for everything needed during a home sale & move-out. I’ve generally had good experiences here, except when I feel like I’m being followed/watched (I visit a lot), as this store obviously has a theft problem. Makes me uncomfortable to feel like I’m suspected, but can’t really blame them I guess: Home Depot in Portland area is not an easy existence.

Just found out that September is not an optimum time to purchase indoor plants. Small selection to make room for seasonal holiday display. Nothing under $20. But a great store none the less.
