Customer service here is horrible. The girl I asked to do an exchange for a defective dolly. Didn't want to do my exchange for the same item because I made the purchase in May. Never used it since it was purchased and noticed it had a broken wheel. Took it to union city and no issue at all in fact they showed me where the item was and offered a refund for the item being out of stock. They understood things come defective at times and people may not use some hardware until it's needed. I'd give hayward a zero star if I could. I literally live down the street and always have issues here. I'd rather shop at san leandro and union city customer service is always better.

Hermie at Hardware was incredibly helpful with all of my needs. His dedication to his work went above and beyond the standard. I truly hope more people have the same passion and drive in their work as Hermie does.

Attention home Depot you need to bring back the registers with people "AKA cashier's" working them!!! If I wanted to be a cashier I would have put in for the minimum wage job as a cashier!!! I didn't get off work to come work a second job for free you make me want to go to shop at another hardware store!!!!! Which I'm actually on the way to now!!!!
