Alan, aka "The Horn Doctor" is the man for your injured woodwind family member! He made my beloved but again P. Mauriat alto and Selmer Mark VI tenor sing like they were brand new. Can't recommend enough, he's the guy to call!

Alan worked on both my Bach Strad and my Flugelhorn. He thoroughly cleaned both, removed dents, polished, replaced valve felt, water key cork, etc. Fantastic job at a very respectable price. Very professionally done; as good a job as I have had done on my horns while living in both Philadelphia and Minneapolis/St. Paul. I would highly recommend the Horn Doctor for any brass instrument work.

I have an old Buffet clarinet that was in need of some troubleshooting. Alan did an amazing job working with me to not only identify issues with the horn mechanics (keys, pads, etc), but he was also able to diagnose some issues related to the mouthpiece and ligature setup I had been using. I had taken it to 2 other places before meeting Alan, and even though they both did some work on it, I was still having some problems with note responses in 2 different registers. It took some time and effort, but he diagnosed the problem and the horn is playing great now...I highly recommend The Horn Doctor!
