I sent my daughter to get drinks and she mistakenly asked for a 32oz matcha with 6 shots and whipped cream. I called and asked if I could get an exchange and Steve said "oh I can't do an exchange. You spent about 14 bucks on the tea. I could do 50% off". I didn't mind the 50% off offer but why point out how much I spent? A 7/8$ mocha vs a 14$ matcha just makes my daughter feel even worse. I've never had a coffee stand not offer to do an exchange when someone isn't happy with a drink let alone not question a kid ordering a 32 oz Macha w/ 6 shots and whipped cream.
Edit - the issue wasn’t the 50% offer, Steve, I had no problem with that offer. The issue became when owner continued to state how my daughter messed up and repeatedly told me how much the mistake cost me. There was no validation or positive feedback.
