Had a kiddo go through an eval here and we felt like they were thorough and communicated well.
I have also worked with one of their providers individually that I think highly of.

Dr. Higgins and her team display emotionless, inauthentic consideration for clients. Money and payment is the first and foremost driving force of The Joy and Wellness Center. Dr. Higgins informed me, after the first visit, "when you return, I will have a bunch of literature for you" I'm able to find my own "literature", I was looking for some emotional support. Very dissappointed.

Nick Jones was my psychologist for a good 10-12 months until Covid hit. It's hard for me to connect over video chat so I have stopped and I'm in a good mental state so far, but as soon as they start in person sessions again I will be enthused to come back. Nick helped me in an incredibly rough time in my life. He helped me with my anxiety, depression, relationships, addictions, and helped me figure out what to do with a situation regarding sexual assult. Never once have I felt judged by him. He showed that he genuinely cared about the problems I had and was very helpful and compassionate when making game plans to overcome my problems. That's the other thing I really liked. Not only did he listen to when I needed to talk, but he helped me developed strategies and helped me understand the science behind what I was feeling. This practice helped me overcome a lot and I am so thankful to have had him as my psychologist. I hope to see him again when Covid dies down:)
