Fantastic place for Birthdays. We were served by Caius and that guy deserves all the tips. Fantastic service. We will be coming back again.

$19 plus tax for calamari appetizer is too expensive, but we ordered it anyway because it's what my husband wanted, agreeing we'll not order in future for that price. We also ordered the garlic butter shrimp & they didn't put shrimp in 2 of our bowl holes. The batter was unflavored and not alot there for the price. The Caesar salad was so watered down that you could barely even taste the dressing. It just tasted like watery lettuce. The only thing that made it salvageable was the salt and pepper and lemon we dumped all over it. We both ordered the baseball cut medium rare and the steak was more rare/ raw than anything. At the end of our meal our bill was $160 and our waitress was explaining to us that even when people don't leave a tip they have to pay 6% from the bill of anyone who sits at their tables out of their own pocket. So if you don't tip paying your tip for you. That did not sit right with me. We gave our waitress a $20 bill as a tip and I still felt like that wasn't enough because she worked very hard to make us happy which is why I never complained to her about any of our food either. This is the first time that we have been to this restaurant in 10 years. We usually go to the Maple Ridge location. Overall $180 later we both left very unsatisfied. I wanted to have a piece of cake but my husband wanted to leave.

The service was good but the food could have been better. What bothered me the most was that my plate seemed to have beef blood or wine stains that were not fully cleaned off. They were hidden under the fries and only saw them towards the end. I really don’t want to be that customer but I thought it was quite discussing. I did not drink any wine nor had bloody beef, plus like I said it was sticky and under the fries. Anyways this was not was I expected as you spend a lot of money for what you eat and this just doesn’t live up to the standards.
