As nice as Maria is, I am going to be honest about my experience as a first time home buyer. First of all, they all work together - inspector, seller & buyer agent, sellers. It’s all about getting the highest offer or the highest pay out for all. After being in my home since March, I can say we could’ve gotten this home for MUCH less. And I’m not happy at all with our inspector. I’m going to his page next. Buying a home is stressful and I don’t think she did a good job keeping us informed. I had to ask her a lot of questions and she wasn’t as clear in her explanations. I think she was very busy though, so I’d advise pple to ask about an agents work load. I literally had to call another real estate agent to explain it to us. I would’ve went with her (a coworker referred me to her) but we were in the middle of negotiations already. It’s a tough but a great learning experience. I’d advise her to look out for her buyers more, she has a lot of experience and they can really use her help when it comes to home price and requesting repairs. She told us to go over on list price when there were a lot of repairs/renovations to be done. I also would’ve appreciated if you fought for us to keep the repair money in escrow as that didn’t go too well for us. Their contractor “fixed” the garage. But did not actually fix it because of a technicality, which wouldn’t have been an issue if we would’ve kept that money in escrow as originally planned. But because she wanted the business of the seller’s agent after this transaction. We got screwed. If you don’t look out for your buyers, you don’t get those referrals. You lose business. It’s not all about the sale, I have my grandmother who wants to sell and my cousin who wants to buy. Please lookout for your first time home buyers better. Wishing you all the best.
