James at the Line Trailhead provided an outstanding experience all around, despite the fact that Friday the 13th made its presence known!
First of all, genius idea to rent bikes at the trailhead. My husband and I were in Seattle on vacation. We love to go mountain biking in new places, and we'd brought our clipless bike shoes, and rented bikes and helmets from the Line. It's so convenient! Usually we have to find a bike store close enough to ride to a trailhead, which always involves sketchy road riding. Not this time! Top notch equipment, located feet from the trailhead. James had two size bikes for each of us to try, to make sure we had a good fit, then he set them up for a perfect ride. He moved the seat forward for me, and adjusted the brake handle so it didn't crush my knuckle, and when the bolt from my clipless show pedal mysteriously disappeared, he cheerfully swapped out the SPD pedals for flats.
Needless to say, the trails did not disappoint, and neither did the Line Trailhead. Do not hesitate! The service is amazing, and the trails epic!
