I was a complete novice when I began by taking a class with Hannah at the Mud Room. This gave me the confidence to start exploring my own path. I joined the studio almost 2 years ago and have enjoyed the freedom to try out my ideas in a welcoming environment. I appreciate having so many tools at my fingertips, without having to invest in my own studio. The owners of the studio, Lizzie and Cole, stop by frequently to check on everyone and the condition of the studio. It is not uncommon to see them scrubbing floors, or other tasks that they could easily hire someone to do. It is clear that they take great pride in their business.

I started ceramics with zero experience about a year ago. I took the wheel class followed by hand building with Hannah, and I am completely hooked. I love the environment of the studio. It's clean, bright and welcoming. Everyone is supportive. The owners are so warm and lovely, and there's no kinder person than Hannah. I joined the studio with my teenage daughter thinking she would do it for a few months then move on. It has been more than a year and she's just as addicted as I am!

I absolutely love The Mud Room! Great atmosphere, friendly people, and the creativity is overflowing. The hand-building class with Hannah was amazing; I learned tons of new skills and she's there to help you with your projects every step of the way. 11/10 recommend for anyone looking to work with clay :-)
