Our experience at The New Inn in December was disappointing. The decor, view, and breakfast were excellent, but the service and comfort were lacking.
We had a difficult time checking in and had to call (the owner, I believe). She seemed annoyed and upset at what appeared to be a staff error in sending over the check-in information. The next day, we asked for extra pillows and were told that there were no more. There were exactly two (not very comfortable) pillows on the king bed. Needless to say, we did not sleep well. The water pressure in the shower was very weak and didn't get very hot. The shower also leaked everywhere onto the bathroom floor.
With a more present and hospitable staff, this Inn has great potential. I could see how wonderful it could be for a small wedding or event as I imagine the service would be prioritized. However, we would not stay there again.
