Josephine provided my daughter with a wonderful virtual fitting, during which she asked questions in a progressive way to help determine my daughter's needs and areas to be improved with her new shoes. It was the best fitting she's had, and we will definitely use the Pointe Shop's virtual fitting again!

Had a great experience doing my virtual fitting with Josephine! She is super knowledgeable and kind, truly a pleasure to work with. I'm an adult beginner going en pointe for the first time, and was a bit nervous going into my first fitting. My feet are a bit hard to fit even in street shoes, but Josephine was able to take my measurements, look at my feet, and fit me very well!
Once my shoes arrived we did a follow-up so she could see the shoes on and I think we were both very pleased with the "beautiful" rating that she gave them. 10/10 would recommend getting fitted with The Pointe Shop! Their virtual fitting options are great for if you don't have a lot of fitters in your area. Or if you – like me – are a little nervous about getting fitted in-person. I will absolutely be coming back for my next fitting 🩰

Josephine is absolutely the sweetest! I was very happy to get the opportunity to schedule a virtual fitting with her. I’ve had a bit of an interesting journey on pointe and have had multiple obstacles throughout the years. I was eager to have a fitting with her to get a fresh perspective on my situation. I did enjoy getting to work with her and the shoes she recommended me seem like they might work. She fitted me with the mindset of getting me over the box rather than having proper alignment, which was a difference compared to other fitters I have worked with. As I’ve grown older as a dancer, ironically I don’t want to be in shoes “just to get over,” I feel safer in shoes that guide me towards proper alignment. All and all I’m glad I had a bit of pointe shoe fitting knowledge before the fitting. The first fitting went well and I felt like she really took the time to understand my feet. The shoes arrived a couple days before my follow up appointment. I mind the decision to try on the shoes for my dancer teacher before Josephine saw them. I was glad I did that, because my teacher and I spent about 30 minutes examining the fit of the shoe, while my follow up call with Josephine lasted 3 minutes. I had so many questions to ask her about the shoes, but got so flustered when quickly saw me in the shoes and told me to contact her when they died. I would suggest that if you are going to do a virtual fitting, please have an deep understanding of pointe shoe fittings and knowledge about your foot flexibility and strength. Also, I would recommend communicating with your teacher about the fitting and be able to explain the reasoning Josephine fit in the particular shoes.
