I volunteered there and helped with some heavy lifting in the food bank. They fed me an amazing lunch from their kitchen of breaded tilapia with dill tartar sauce and a perfectly baked potato with butter and sour cream...(the chef was great and I wanted to leave a tip) I thought this was maybe just a perk of those that volunteered to help but during our lunch a man walked in. He asked if the food bank was open and he was politely told "no it was closed for the staff to have lunch". Then they said "we will be finished shortly but if you'd like to join us for lunch you are welcome. The man gladly sat down and enjoyed a great meal with us and then got food from the food bank to take home to his family. What a breath of fresh air to have met these people and see the help they provide. Wonderful people and an amazing organization!

I went to its sr center. They served chicken with white sauce and noodles. It was very good. Then at 1:00 we played bingo. I didn't win but still had fun.

Hands down the greatest most compassionate experience of my life! They all are a great team! I was feeling less than hopeless but they made sure I had everything I needed.
