I can’t say enough good about The Specific, Chico. I started with Dr. Shane four years ago when I was at my rock bottom with my health. I had never felt heard and any other Doctor before visiting him. His guidance helped me get to the other side of some huge issues I was having. I was so incredibly thankful to have him on my care team because he helped understand my health issues and plan a path out of them. He and Doctor Jay are incredibly knowledgeable and are willing to share their knowledge with anyone who is willing to listen. I have referred countless people to them over the years as well as my husband and two kids. If you are looking to work towards truly improving your health, these are your guys! They have added a new face to the office, Jeremy who I have not been adjusted by but if he’s under the tutelage of Dr. Jay and Shane, I know he’s good. Ultimately, if you’re looking for an invaluable add to your care team, these are the fellas. They can help set you on a true path to healing. Dr Shane, Dr J and The Specific changed my life. I suffered from 24/7 migraine headaches for years. I was on 9 medications twice a day and Botox shots every 3 months in the head and neck to try to numb the pain. It was incapacitating. My general health was declining also and I wasn’t sure how much longer I could exist.
A friend told me about The Specific and I knew I could not continue the way I was going so I decided to schedule a consultation. After meeting with Dr Shane, he indicated he thought he could help me. Since I had tried everything else and nothing worked, I decided to try an alternative method with The Specific. Best decision I have ever made.
It has been over 10 years now. I am migraine free and my life has totally changed. It was not immediate, it was a process that took many appointments and months and months to work through but we did reach our goal of no headache's, no medications, no shots. Now I go in for what we call my ‘tune up’ every 6 months just to make sure I stay on track.
This may not work for everyone but it did for me and I cannot ‘Thank’ Dr Shane and The Specific enough for giving me back my life.
