I wanted to take time and acknowledge that Patti Steele & Sheyenne Dowell are both a blessing to my life. I was in a difficult position in my divorce process. I did in fact hire a different firm to represent me in the beginning and that team was a local firm with a great reputation. Although I parted ways and made an honest effort to represent myself against my ex and her team. It was unfortunate that they took advantage of the situation and made allegations to support their narrative. I was backed up against a wall with a court date the next day when I retained Patti and 12 days away from a temporary spousal support & child support order. I must also mention that my ex and her team submitted an 80/20 parenting plan that Patti & Sheyenne worked diligently to have them agree on a 50/50 parenting plan. Patti and Sheyenne were able to put my entire case together in three in half days and shed light on facts and keep me informed the entire time. They were transparent the entire time and processed all my information in an expedited manner. I am thankful that they came into my life at exactly the time I needed them. Early in 2022 my spouse had filed for divorce and I embarked on an arduous journey of trying to find an attorney. After a grueling, anxiety filled search, I chose a lawyer out of Lakewood, WA named Kevin Byrd and it was nothing short of an unmitigated disaster. The divorce battle continued; but with Ms. Steele representing me, I was able to avoid trial and I was able to negotiate a parenting arrangement that was MUCH more favorable and sustainable.

Patti is experienced in her field. She didn't sugar coat things which I personally liked. Never felt judged and in fact made me comfortable with all her knowledge. She's very thorough and doesn't back down from a fight, yet is very kind. Patti helped me tremendously and fought to help see my daughter when I didn't think I'd get much time with her. It was a long road but Patti guided me every step of the way, Patti earned my trust and wouldn't go to anyone else.
