Just in town for work. Stopped in and Julie met me on my stride inside, as I was examining the classic weathered bar top and tables. After looking at the menu the Cheesy spicy philly steak caught my attention right away. Julie suggested the French Onion soup and I tried that. Omg I have had a lot of French Onion soups and philly's but the best is here. The soup wasn't all base, but had huge layers or crispy bread and the cup was actually covered with the perfect provolone cheese melting down the cup. It was the best I ever had. The cheese steak had that canned cheese as well as provolone with perfectly cooked steak! Not soggy at all but hot and fresh! No soggy roll here because they made it traditionally correct. Cheese melted on roll to keep the juices from soaking in! Fluffy centered bun with a sharp satisfyingly crack of crisp with every bite.
Over all perfect visit for a man who works to much and was looking to relax. Good price, great service, and delicious food! Try it! I wish I lived closer.
A fun place to meet up with friends and family. Good food and excellent service.
I used to come here for breakfast with my grandma when I was a kid. And recently I celebrated my 50th birthday here. This place is a North Spokane staple.
