Maybe it was just an off day - we all have em - but this seems to be a recurring issue with one particular associate. Our business normally has a UPS driver that comes by to pick up our daily shipment. In instances where they do not come or there's a time-sensitive package that needs to be delivered, this is the location that is closest to our store for drop off.
A few tips: If you printed your label as opposed to having an "official" label, find another store. Said associate will huff and puff and begrudgingly type in the tracking number manually.
If your package contains items that you care about, find another store. After typing in the tracking number, said associate will then throw your package to the ground or wherever there is free space.
If you say thank you (despite being given horrible customer service) and would appreciate an acknowledgement of sorts, find another store. I guess that's too much to ask these days, or maybe we should get accustomed to it if this is in fact the way we as customers should expect to be treated. Or maybe it's just this particular store and this particular associate.
This is the first google review I've written, ever. I don't believe in bashing places if I can avoid it. I take surveys and leave positive feedback when it's warranted because you hardly ever see the good stuff. But this has happened on numerous occasions and maybe someone can benefit from knowing this bit of information.
I get it. Packages are probably tossed around with reckless abandon by the drivers on a daily basis. They're busy and on a time crunch; understandable. But you're literally standing with a scanner in hand - not necessarily the most physically demanding activity. If you're going to throw my packages, at least do it where I can't see it.
