I go to this UPS store regularly. Someone in my family is out of town for a year so every 2 weeks I forward their mail. Never had a problem. Today I mailed 2 small packages of forwarded mail like usual. One was filled with envelope mail. The second with one tiny box and 3 envelopes in a soft package.
The man ‘helping’ me, Ben, didn’t believe me that they were filled with mail. He was condescending and made me feel looked down upon. He asked me what was in the first package. I kept telling him that it’s forwarded mail and I don’t know what’s in the envelopes. He did not ask me what was in the second package or I would have told him it was a small box that came in the mail to be forwarded.
Instead he turned to his boss and asked if he can open the package to see if it’s something they can’t ship. I was floored. I told him what was in it. He didn’t believe me and wanted to open my package to see… what? Unopened envelopes? Was he then thinking he’d get to open the mail inside to see if they ‘could ship it’?
I left embarrassed and seething with anger. Next time I go back I will refuse to let Ben ‘help’ me. Completely unprofessional, rude, and condescending.
I wish I could give this place zero star . I took my registration card to get laminate it . the employee was new to this process so he had to ask the owner to help him. the owner neglected to standby his new employee and guide him through this process . My only registration card was damaged by this place so bad I can’t even take it to my work . This place should be shut down!!! Lack of knowledge lack of responsibility and lack of diligence towards customers important documents. The owner should be sham of himself!!! I will never step into this place again .
