I have actual first - and second-degree burns in my mouth and on my hands from their tea. I took the lid off the tea for about 10 minutes before drinking it, as well. The staff was not concerned when I brought it to their attention. This was a horrible experience. A few hours later and it still hurts a lot.
Response from the owner 4 months ago Hi Kia, I’m sorry for your experience. The staff may have not seemed concerned because of the cuss words you were using towards them and your very aggressive body language. I do have the whole event on camera even the part where you dropped your food and then threw your tea in our parking lot. I have issued you a refund.
My Response: I cursed at absolutely no one and have no idea what you mean by "aggressive body language," unless of course you are talking about the way that I walk since I am disabled from the military. As far as the tea throwing on the ground outside, I did. After I tried to take it with me and it spilled on my hand once again, and it burned me once again, I decided it wasn't worth it, and that it was your problem. You're lucky I didn't sue you. My church won't be using your venue if I have anything to say about it.
Nice enough people. Wish the food was better.
I'm not sure how to respond to your request for more info so I will do it here. We ordered a BLT Croissant sand to split, which we mentioned. There were 2 pieces of bacon on the entire sand, which means we each had a one piece of bacon sand. Plus it was falling apart and hard to manage. Also if I were trying to impress my clientele I would not just pour a bunch of bagged chips on the plate. Thanks for responding to my post.
