This place is absolutely incredible! Susan took my shy and inexperienced child, and gave her the understanding and confidence needed for a strong foundation as a horseman. I can't wait to see how they continue to grow together. She is an incredibly effective teacher to both the student, the horse, and the by-standing parent! I've never experienced, or even heard of holistic horsemanship before my children attended her Horsemanship Classes. I must say that the care for the animals is like nothing I've seen before. The connection she is building between rider and horse is so awesome to watch. My children beg to go back daily!

My 9 year old daughter has been doing horsemanship classes at the wooden horse for a few months now. We absolutely love Susanne and the horses. It is the highlight of my daughters week and she looks forward to every lesson. She has gained confidence and I see her riding improving every lesson. Susanne is a patient teacher with an obvious love for her horses. We hope to continue to grow and learn at the wooden horse for years to come!
