I saw Dr Lamperti 10/15/21 for hearing test/evaluation and chronic sinus pressure on upper facial region and on ears. Dr Lamperti did a cursory exam of ears and nostrils and said there was no earwax or nasal blockage and told me to use any allergy nasal spray and come back in 6 weeks, even though I informed him I had tried that in the past. I saw Dr Lamperti no more than 5 minutes; he acted like he was in a hurry. I received no hearing test/evaluation. The cost of the visit was $312.00. Three weeks later I saw another otolaryngologist who found ear wax blockage in both ears; I was given a hearing test and evaluation; and was given a prescription for a nasal spray, ear drops, and advised to use a nasal rinse and return in 3 weeks. The cost was the same. I don’t feel I was given the time and attention Dr Lamperti’s profile statement says he gives to his patients. I gave the appointment the better part of my day and received hurried, substandard treatment. I should not have been forced to seek treatment by another specialist for the same chronic condition that was inadequately addressed by Dr Lamperti.
