We engaged Thompson to install several appliances. They installed a built-in refrigerator freezer, failed to complete the work in the first visit, invoiced us for the work, and charged us another almost $500 trip charge to finish. Furthermore, there was an issue with the cabinets that needs to be resolved which they informed us on a month after the first trip, seemingly to collect two more trip charges.
One wonders why the company continues to claim no one was home as a reason why issues were not shared. Of course we were home and of course there is a magical device called a telephone.
Miele corporation picked Thompson Appliance to replace my fridge which was under warranty. Kennady from their office called me a few weeks before the order for shelter in place to discuss the process. Multiple times I had to change the schedule for a variety of reasons. Every time she was very accommodating and helpful. Yesterday finally the work was completed. Nic and Ian their installers showed up on time and did a fantastic job. There is a slight bow in my cabinet and Nic took the time to make sure the fridge was installed perfectly. You can tell they take pride in their work. One of the best experiences I have had with a company from the beginning to the end. Thank you Kennady, Nic and Ian
