If you are traveling any where near Newport Washington you have to visit the Thousand Trails resort at little diamond lake. The resort was remarkable. Super clean bathrooms, friendly and knowledgeable staff and super amenities. Secluded quiet large sites nestled among the pines. We felt that we were in the woods alone.

The staff is friendly and the place is clean, but this place could be much better. There is no sewer hookups which would be fine, but there's no honeywagon service or anything like that so for people that want to take advantage of their 21 day stay membership, it's a huge pain having to hook up your camper and take it to the dump station. Most of the sites are very uneven. It's hard to find a good level spot. There's also nothing done about people driving through the campground driving 20mph because they didn't "see it with their own eyes". Nobody is gonna be speeding in front of someone who works there obviously. Didn't even feel safe having my kids ride their bikes on the road. If there was another park to stay in this area I would definitely not pick this one.

Not up to Thousand Trails standards. 🙁 Beautiful area but this is a KOA park that shares with Thousand Trails. NO sewer hookups and the bathrooms are sorely lacking with toilets that barely flush! Need non-slip mats in the pool/clubhouse bathrooms. No boat or kayak rentals on Labor Day weekend. Nice clubhouse but pool tables are trashed from unsupervised kids. Pool too crowded to swim on the holiday weekend. Needs attention.
