I think it's only fair to post a comment as I heavily rely on the comments of others on this site when booking a hotel.||We stayed at the 3 Pines for a mini b'day celebration in August and I should add that true to my star sign (Virgo :) I am an extremely picky person, but found 3 pines to be a delightful little cottage. There are several cabins to stay at Big Bear Lake which are not listed here and I didn't regret staying at 3 Pines at all. The price is great and the staff (Randy plus another) were very amiable. The fact that it was the only place that didn't have a two night min on a weekend and the comments on this site is what initially attracted us. The only downside to this cottage (we stayed in cabin 7) is that it could do with a new coat of paint, but aside from that you won't go wrong staying here at all. It's very small (can’t swing a cat in that shower!) but very comfortable and cozy. I have attached some pictures -- ignore the date which were reset.|

I rented room 18B which is a small room in the back of another cabin. It was perfect for me the price was right just a basic bathroom and bedroom and tv had to bring my own blankets sheets pillows and towels which I did not mind at all with covid and they did warn me plenty of times so I would not forget these necessity's. I can see that someone might not like walking around thru the back by a garage and yard that has what looks like furniture for the cabins. Also you can hear the people and tv in the front cabin very easily. This was a 1 person trip for me so this room was affordable and just what I needed. Definitely no views or patio or anything like that.

My girl and I stayed at one of the Jacuzzi Suites. The location is great (near to everything). The room was big enough for us and quite comfortable. We found a few small hairs in the water when we were filling up the jacuzzi, but we just remove them with some paper. Our stay was lovely. The guy at the front desk back in the office was really kind and told us to call at any time if we had any problem. We didn't need to do this, because everything was great (well, just to ask for the wi-fi password). Would stay there again for sure.|
