Mark and Eileen and the other staff members are great people. They are eager to share their knowledge and are determined to drive your success in creating multiple pottery pieces by the end of the classes. Every step of the process is laid out in an easy to remember manner and there are even additional videos available to aid in recollection of various procedures. The studio is organized meticulously, allowing students to easily remember where different tools are and increasing process efficiency. Tools are shared freely and all techniques are explained thoroughly. Excellent class, 10/10, no notes.
A big thank you to Mark and Eileen and the rest of the staff at throwing mud. I attended one of the six week classes. I had zero experience whatsoever before starting, and was very nervous! Mark is really patient and helpful teacher. The classes are a great mix of really friendly people. I made a couple bowls (with lot of help!) and some hand building items as well. Can’t wait to take another class here!
