This is a HIDDEN GEM for tent or RV camping! Short walk across a bridge, through a field and dunes to the beautiful ocean. Many ocean treasures to find, including sand dollars and sea shells. Starfish, seagulls, and jelly fish also appeal here. Private entrance to the beach and the cars don’t come this way. Bald eagle sightings.
Clean Bathrooms, many stalls, quarter showers, great host, and a variety of different sites. Community sink/cook area for groups and horse shoe games. Very family friendly! Kid park and lots of field to play.
We didn’t think it much when we arrived but ended up extending our stay and will absolutely be back! Nothing beats the sound of the ocean while camping!

Tidelands campgrounds are basic, but well maintained, clean, and well run. Along with the campsites, there is a bath house with quarter operated showers, and free sinks and toilets. If you don't want to camp, there are two nice cabins you can rent as well. The owner, Dave, is a great guy that takes great pride in his campground. There are multiple levels of sites. Tent sites are mostly separated and private. There is water for the tent sites at different places around the campground. There are partial hookups for RV's with water and power, and there are full hookups with water, power, sewer and tv connections. Dave will try and keep the RV's mostly spaced out, so it makes it nice. It's a few minutes walk to the beach, but not bad at all. The beach was great, with few people, and lots of shells to find. Overall, it was a great 4 days for us!
