Timberlake Campground & RV

We had a wonderful experience rv camping with our truck camper at Timberlake for a week end April-beginning of May. The sites were surrounded by trees and we had room to also park our truck and boat at our site. The bathrooms were very clean and everything was quiet.

When visiting the Columbia Gorge. This is our go to place to RV/tent camp in the woods & not far from activities. Very clean large shower/bathrooms. Friendly family run business. We come here whenever there is some festival happening @ the Gorge. Love camping in the woods.

I rely on reviews when traveling so I try to write thorough ones. This campground is located at the top of a fairly steep and winding road. People who are not comfortable with this or narrow roads should think twice. You definitely need that 4 wheel drive if you are taking a spot on the upper loop. shaded spots are wonderful during the summer heat but spots 27-31 definitely need some expertise in leveling. We asked to be moved from spot 31 with our 27 ft tt since it was so bad. I included a picture of a c class level with blocks on their front wheels. Never saw anything like that and would never do it myself. Love the full hook up. Glad we did not need campground showers since they charge $1 for every minute. The campground is very quiet and fairly close to hiking and activities. But like everything in the river gorge, over priced and not the easiest to drive to ( especially driving an rv) after driving cross country from Florida I would say this was definitely one of the more challenging rv campgrounds and far from inexpensive Also do not rely on internet and our starlink would not work on the upper loop
