This place is awesome! The owner, Mark really knows his stuff. There are a bunch of crazy cool instruments like nyckelharpas and herdygerdy's, as well as more conventional instruments like guitars and ukuleles.
I got my ukulele here and Mark was willing to take time to really help me find the right one. This is a really cool place, and I really recommend it if you are looking for a new instrument.
I know he also does repairs, and sells instruments on consignment.

I resurrected two guitars from a closet recently - both around 50 years old - one a 12 string Martin and the other an off brand, but quality made, 6 string. I hadn’t plucked either of them in many years, as they neither played nor sounded like I needed them to. I knew Mark from a few gigs we did together, so I asked if he would put some work into them. To say I was pleased at the result is the understatement of the pandemic. I love how these guitars play now, and I can barely put them down. And oh, yah, the shop is full of really great karma. And instruments. You should go there.

I’ve been going into Timbre now and again for awhile, and they are fantastic. Mark is awesome, and the inventory is wild. Go in, say hi, get your stuff repaired, and revel in their crazy assortment of cool stuff!! (Be prepared to fall in love with some of the aforementioned crazy instruments.)
