I recently visited Timeless Tea Dessert Cafe and had a mixed experience. The cafe has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the tea selection was impressive.
However, I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the desserts. While they looked beautiful, they were overly sweet and lacked depth of flavor. I also found the prices to be a bit on the high side for the portion sizes. The service was friendly.
Overall, while I appreciated the atmosphere and tea selection at Timeless Tea Dessert Cafe, I was not completely satisfied with the quality of the desserts and the prices. I would recommend this cafe for a quick boba tea break.
Updated review: Favorite boba place in U District! There’s plenty of seating so good place to catch up with friends over boba. The employees are so nice too, I was taking a while to decide and the person was so patient and kind. I ended up getting Four Seasons Milk Tea with 50 percent sugar and boba. I could definitely taste the tea which I like and the tea tasted more like roasted oolong tea than more slightly acidic green tea flavor that I was expecting which was interesting. I also tried my friend’s drink which was a mango avocado drink and that one was pretty good! The richness of avocado was well-complemented by the sweet mango pieces. Will be back again to try more drinks!
Summer 2023: I ordered the milk tea with boba at 50 percent level and less ice. Definitely tasted less sugar which is good but the tea flavor is slightly watered down for me. The store interior is very cute with cat-themed items and there are plenty of tables to drink boba and chat with friends comfortably. My friends liked their drinks, especially green grape lemon with lychee popping boba. Would def come back to try other drinks!
