My experience with Tom James was underwhelming . I brought in several items for what was promised to be a fairly standard alteration. Sadly, the work didn’t equal the promise or my expectation. The primary issue (collar roll) remained unfixed on most items and in some instances was worse than before. Further, the sales oriented vibe is off putting. Lastly, when the alterations didn’t meet expectation, I was told it was about garment quality.
Overall very disappointing. The only upside was that the receptionist and tailor were very nice.
Save your $$$ and go to a more cost effective tailor. You will get the same or better work at a lower cost.
