What a truly nice old school place. I had the corned beef hash breakfast. I ordered it without mushrooms and the waitress brought it out with mushrooms, immediately noticed and made a new one for me. Such wonderful service. The apple pancakes were delicious, not too sweet and perfect with the cinnamon sugar on top. My friend had the linguica sausage and it was soooo good. Not too spicy, full of flavor and nicely crisped. The hash browns could have been a little crunchier, but I would give them another try. It looks like they usually are perfectly cooked based on other reviews. Topped it off with some ice cream. Nothing special, just old school chocolate and strawberry. Really delicious. Highly recommend if diner food is your thing

This is an old staple in the community of Los Altos. There are tables outside for cyclists to watch their bikes and dine, and lots of indoor diner style eating - recommended for standard diner fare and friendly service. A nice nostalgic train depot mural on the wall. I love coming here and then visiting the Bicycle Outfitter shop next door.

Convenient location and easy to get to. Parking can be tough on those busy weekend days. Service was a bit slow (and it was fairly empty when we arrived). Has an open kitchen, so one could see the good being prepared, but it was small (so with service being slow when we were there, wondered what it would be like when busy). A lot of people came for takeout and some regulars came to eat, so seems to be a good local spot.
