Under no circumstances trust this man. I took my watch in as it kept time and moon phases, but not the dates. He looked at it, told me it would be $35 for an estimate (i have since discovered that no other watch repair places charge for estimates). He gave me no claim check. When I called two weeks later, at first he didn't remember the watch, but then did, and said that it would cost $260 to fix it, $340 for a ten-year guarantee. I picked up the watch, paid the $35 (he doesn't take cards or checks, only cash (not hard to figure why).
Now nothing works on the watch, not the time, dates, or moon phases. This man is a fraud. I should have left his "shop" (upon entering I had a pretty negative impression) and never left my watch.
