There were only 3 other people in this store, but a woman told us they were at their maximum occupancy. That seemed a little off but we were happy to wait. The deal breaker was when this woman wouldn't let us take in my 2 year old daughter without her wearing a mask. I responded by telling her that a 2 year old isn't going to keep a mask on. And that is not what the state has demanded with the recent covid regulations. She then told me that I would at least have to carry my 2 year old around then if I wanted to come into the store. We were really looking forward to getting something special for my daughter. These guys lost customers and money. Wont be going back.

This store was very clean, well run, and packed to the gills with toys. My kids (ages 2 and 5) loved it! They walked in with their masks, got their hand sanitizer, and then had a wonderful time. The woman running the store spoke kindly to them and talked to them in a way that made them feel very comfortable. Final haul had several stuffed animals, some plus plus toys and a new baby doll.
(This review was obviously written during the Covid-19 pandemic just after the peak of omicron variant)

Visited Manzanita and had to go inside one of my favorite toy stores, Toylandia. Mostly because the owner always keeps a good supply of Bruder toys. However there are many things to entertain and play with in the store, plus they have marbles. I know the game is passe these days, but there was a time in North America when that game was widely popular. As evidence, my great uncle gave me his "sack of marbles" that he built up from playing as a kid, including his favorite "shooter." While I was looking at a few nice little marbles, the owner let me have a couple for regaling her with a marbles story, that I won't tell here... lol.
