A great comfy neighborhood Italian restaurant in West Portal. It's not super fancy but serves authentic Italian food and drinks. I'm like most places in SF, the portion is fairly generous, and the price is affordable.

Sat outside for a late lunch. Service was great, bucatini was a little overcooked and pretty basic but the calamari at the other table looked great.

I was on my way out to Westlake...to have an Italian dinner at that other place with my old pal Vito Boscombi, and he tells me "Hey! Don't make me shoot you in the leg, but if we want really good Pollo Parmigiano like Nona made...we go to Trattoria da Vittorio..Capifce! Well, I wasn't going to argue with Vito because he knows better than me who has the best Italian food in the city. And, I'll tell you what...he was right, I got it without the red sauce and had some amazing ravioli with the Chicken Parmigiana...5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆
