For the purpose of our trip the location was great! The staff made generous efforts to accommodate and address my concerns. You get what you paid for: stains on the bedsheets (all 3 rooms that I visited); fire detector was in a drawer (oh, that’s why the room smelled like cigarette smoke); plumbing issues in all 3 rooms (toilet tank valve needed to be replaced by hand after every flush; hair trapped in drain causing 3 inches of shower water after showering; one room had detached water handle so shower and tub were out of commission.

I spilt something on the floor and pick it up with a towel and it pick up so much dirt. Inly been their a few hours. Disgusting right. Well in the morning to my dismay, I find I being charged for the whole towl because it's dirty. Me and him got into it because that floor was filthy and I should be mad. Than when I called it a scam he lost it lol. Whatever wouldn't stay here again bad business.

This is the dirtiest motel room I've ever seen. Seriously, I could've killed someone and not cleaned it up, and you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference from when I checked in.

However, I gave this hotel 4 stars because it was $50/night thru agoda, which is dirt cheap (ha ha, see what I did there?) for this area on a holiday weekend, when so many people are traveling to Yosemite. Also, it was super quiet and it accepts pets (there's a per-night fee for pets). An added bonus is that I didn't have to worry about my puppy peeing on the floor. She didn't, but it was nice not to have to worry about her having an accident on the carpet. (Hell, dog pee might have actually improved the carpet. The smell of urine at least might have helped cover the smell of old cigarettes). The employee at the front desk was also really nice. When I checked out and explained the room was trashed prior to my occupying it, he said he would've changed my room if I would've brought it to his attention (I didn't, because of my puppy). I would stay here again with my dog.

All that being said, I wouldn't stay here without my dog, with children, or if I was worried about catching the plague.

Here's what you're looking at in the pictures:

1.) The wall above the headboard, which was sprayed with bullets and had a bunch of stains on it. Pretty much describes most of the walls.

2.) A BB gun bullet in the wall. There were a lot of those.

3.) The thing that's supposed to hold the shower head. It was broken, so I had to hold the shower head.

4.) The carpet was so dirty that it left my and my puppy's feet black. Here are her black paw prints on her pee pad.

5.) The carpet itself. There was gum on it in several places, as well as rips, and it hadn't been cleaned in god knows how long (I'm guessing never).

6.) The shower curtain wouldn't close because of the way the rod was hung.

7.) Black mold in the shower.

8.) The refrigerator worked, but the door was broken.

9.) The Wi-Fi didn't work.

Not pictured: The room (non-smoking) smelled strongly of smoke.
