I agree with other reviewers. Kind local ownership; stay exceeds expectations!
This is a small place with just a handful rooms, very peaceful. Would be great to rent out the whole thing for a family event! The rooms are well appointed, clean and spacious, with views out over an Orchard and onto the lake. Lots of fall color this time of year. The beds are new and comfortable. A heat pump provides climate control that is quiet and easy to personalize (highly underrated feature, imho). Breakfast varied and was thoughtfully laid out every morning. Heated pool and hot tub, towels and nice robes provided—we had it all to ourselves most of the time.
Essentially next door, the Succession and Cairdeas tasting rooms are walkable. The food truck at Succession on Friday was awesome too. Only a few minutes away from a working farm with a cut flower garden and pumpkin patch and apple picking this time of year (cider houses too!). And a short drive to swim beaches made lake swimming convenient enough. Highly recommend (to nice people 😉).
We had a wonderful stay at Trouvaille last weekend. This is a small modern inn run by an awesome couple, Kitty and Keith. It really is a lucky find.
We were looking for something close to a winery dinner we had planned and this was the perfect spot. So clean and comfortable. And within walking distance of several wineries, allowing for a really fun night without having to worry about driving or finding a ride share.
Breakfast was over the top with lots of options to choose from.
The pool and hottub were the size of many hotels in the area (or bigger). The hot tub was the perfect place to relax after a busy day in Chelan.
This is a unique and special spot. Don’t miss it!
