New to the area and stopped by after dinner in Ballard, thanks to a sign that really spoke to me ("craving something sweet?"). I'm so glad I did because this place has some of the best peanut butter cookies I've ever had. I kid you not. If you love peanut butter, this is a dessert you have to try! Even if you think you don't love peanut butter - still give it a try. I snuck in a chocolate cake slice too, which was also amazing and generously sized. It was a moist and moderately fluffy cake with tasty buttercream frosting with the perfect icing-to-cake ratios. And everything is so reasonably priced compared to what you'd usually pay for in the area. I've yet to try the other treats but definitely plan to.
The owner Kyma is so sweet too. We started chatting a bit and she told me about the huge Ballard Seafood Festival in July.
TL;DR this is a cute, locally owned bakery with incredible treats that totally deserves more attention. Total gem.
