Tulip Town is a great place to see the Skagit Valley tulip fields in April, especially if you have little ones or older people in your group and prefer a smaller venue that’s easier to navigate. This farm has about 7 acres of tulip fields and gardens to tour, and provides free parking a short walk from the entrance.
There are beautiful plantings at the front of the garden, surrounding the windmill, with a wide, winding gravel path leading towards the tulip fields beyond it. 🌷 🌷 🌷
This venue is not far from Roozengaarde, which is a much larger tulip farm, but Tulip Town offers a few unique things:
We went on a Sunday afternoon and got there around 2pm. The traffic was not too bad, the weather was clear but chilly (bring a sweat shirt), and the line to get in moved quickly even though we didn’t buy tickets ahead of time…
Overall, our family had a nice experience at Tulip Town and recommend visiting this garden!
