I have known Mr. A since I was in 2nd grade (2008) when my mom signed me up for math and reading sessions. These sessions cemented foundational skills that allowed me to advance in coursework ahead of my grade. This experience built my academic confidence which empowered me to be able to ask questions in class and engage with my teachers. During high school, Tutoring Club supported me through challenging AP coursework, SAT prep, and college application essay writing. Beyond obtaining a 1450+ score, I attribute my acceptance into my dream school (UC Berkeley) to the tutors I collaborated with. Not only was I able to trust the thoughtful edits suggested by my tutor, but I felt that my tutor truly worked to understand me, enabling me to articulate who I am in my application essays. I have since sustained the study habits, my inquisitive nature, and my excitement for learning that Tutoring Club instilled in me. Mr. A (and his team) empowers students and provides them with the tools for a successful academic journey-- even after their time with Tutoring Club!

We are so pleased with the progress our son has made at tutoring club. In the short few months that he’s been at tutoring club in Millbrae, his reading level has improved from a 4 to a 12! Ari is so great with the kids, and all the tutors there are patient and professional. My son actually said that the hour he spends there for reading tutoring just flies by. I’m amazed because he is usually pretty resistant to academic activities. They are definitely doing things right at tutoring club Millbrae!

Tutoring Club really helped both of my daughters. My youngest took math for 3 years, excelling her math levels greatly. Now she is taking Calculus BC as a high school sophomore plus getting As in all math classes, including the College of San Mateo MATH 251 Calculus with Analytic Geometry class that she took last summer. The teachers at Tutoring Club explain the subject very clearly, making it very easy for my daughters to learn. The reading program was great as well testing grammar, writing, and reading. My older daughter was able to get 1500 in SAT after taking the Tutoring Club program. Highly recommended!!!
