Great campground. Not very crowded and surprisingly quiet at the end of April/beginning of May. The river is right next to the campground and running fast right now. Picnic tables, fire pits, and pit toilets offered. Port-a-potties are in much better condition than the ones in the little buildings.

When we arrived late afternoon on a Saturday 9/13 a little more then half the campgrounds were taken up. But since the all the river facing sites were taken We ended up driving further up the road to find more dispersed camping. No campfires was quite a bummer.

Pretty, forested, free campground with portapotties. Spacious campsites. The only downside is the road alongside it, which leads to other campgrounds and trailheads. It was relatively busy until after dark. Very nice for a free campground (it does require possession of the Washington Discover Pass, but no one checked mine)
