Third visit to this facility and planning on returning. Going to book future visits before we leave. RV park staff are the best. They welcome you like you are family and are super friendly and accommodating. Boil water advisory in place, but we were notified of this on our arrival. No inconvenience as water can be purchased at the office or at the convenience store about a kilometre away. Golf course in in excellent condition and well maintained. Greens were recently aerated and a bit bumpy but very playable. Staff are busy leveling some of the tee boxes and were very respectful to golfers when teeing off. Overall an enjoyable experience.
We were a bit puzzled as to pro shop hours and the fact that we couldn’t golf on the day of arrival. Checked in at 2:30 and set up in RV park. Around 45 minutes later we tried to play 9 holes. We were told in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that this was not going to happen. No tee times after 3 pm. The reason we were given was related to staff putting carts in overnight storage and would be late leaving. Staying in RV park we noticed these staff members putting carts away as late as 7:45 Plenty of time to play 9 holes and still be ahead of the people playing 18 and returning carts from a earlier t time.
When speaking to other patrons about our experience, we were told that some of them had experienced the same reactions from the pro shop.
