Beautiful store full of nicely curated toys and materials. I was in there today and was excited to be able to get all my 7 year olds bday gifts locally! Unfortunately, just before I headed to pay, the manager or owner came in and began asking her young employee for personal health information right there in front of me. I was really shocked. I'm a working mom and feminist... I can't support any store that has so little respect for employee privacy. And indeed, for BC labor laws regarding confidential employee information. As well, it was clear that soft pressure was being used to get the employee to make several specific health choices - coercive and passive aggressive at the same time, just not my vibe. I left my basket and walked out :( Great stock though!
