If you are looking for a podiatrist in the Puyallup area, I recommend you contact Family Foot Clinic instead of this office. I originally scheduled with Dr. Scheinost regarding my chronic ingrown toenails that were extremely painful and required antibiotics frequently. After waiting in the exam room for over one hour, he took two minutes with me and evaluated my feet from across the room. He dismissed my concerns and said they "weren't that bad." He advised me to continue soaking with Epson salt, then hesitantly scheduled me for a procedure to fix only ONE great toe when BOTH were problematic. After the visit, I did not feel comfortable following up with him again. His entire demeanor was cocky and arrogant. I contacted Family Foot Clinic, and Dr. Smith performed an ingrown toenail surgery on both sides of both toes on the same day. My results were shocking! The abnormal portion of my nails removed were extremely large and sharp and confirmed why I was in so much pain. I am in the medical field and felt the need to post my experience to save others from wasting their time and money on poor-quality care. (The front desk staff was at least kind and professional- Thank you!)

Wasn’t a fan of my appointment at all. I had X-rays done a week or two before I went there and he never even looked at them. He gave me a brace that made my foot 100% worse and now I have to pay $100 after insurance for just the brace! I saw him for maybe 5 minutes and got a bill for $250 after insurance. I heard the Good Feet store robbed you, but I didn’t expect it from a doctor. Attached is a pic of the $175 brace.
