We used U-Pack before for a cross-country move 8+ years ago and had great customer service, so they were our first choice for another cross-country move. Our first trailer arrived for our current move and we discovered a large hole in the roof of the trailer and a few small ones. We were too far in the packing process to request another trailer but why did they send a trailer to go cross country with a large "gash" on top of the trailer?? The driver who picked up the packed trailer said she would have the "holes" fixed at the terminal. Unfortunately, even though it appeared that the large hole had been repaired many of our boxes were dripping wet when the trailer arrived to be unpacked but fortunately, nothing was completely destroyed. Overall other than the damaged truck and wet boxes, the overall customer service was good and the price was reasonable. When we arrived at our destination our first trailer was delivered as needed and when the first trailer was picked up the second came at the same time. Many calls were made to customer service during the moving process to stay updated on the trailers and when to expect delivery. Would have liked for U-Pack to have been more proactive in keeping us informed. Overall, we would use them again, however, the trailer with the holes in the roof was unacceptable.

Every step of the process went smoothly and the customer service was helpful and answered all the questions. I hope I don't have to move across the country again but if I do I would go with u-pack again. I checked around and their pricing is on point. I especially appreciated being able to check the status of my quote / order online. Two relocation cubes were the best size / solution to move the contents of our 3 bedroom home. We have less stuff than most people so it was hard to know if this would be enough room, but it fit the majority of our belongings. We were able to leave what didn't fit with neighbors/friends.

Totally pleased with my U-Pack experience. I was moving belongings of my deceased brother to my living brother across country (Oregon to Massachusetts). I originally signed up for a POD, but I was nervous because my brother was an artist and we were transferring a lot of paintings/artwork of my brothers and I didn't feel comfortable using PODS especially after our record busting 116 degree temperatures. I found U-Pack and decided it was a much safer way to go for weather and safety as well as it was less expensive. I signed up for 7' of a trailer and in the end only used 5' and was only charged for that. I live in the city so securing a spot for the trailer was complicate, but my neighbors were most helpful. At the other end, my brother lives up a long gravel driveway and we were worried about getting the truck parked since it could not be parked on his paved country street. We were hoping they would park it on the gravel just as far as they could to not block the sidewalk. We had a less desirable plan B - an apartment parking lot down the street. When the driver arrived, he not only put it on the gravel driveway which they clearly state they will not do, but he parked it all the way up his driveway by his house! And then the driver estimated it would not take long to unload so he got approval from dispatch to wait while my brother recruited his roofers to help unload the contents in 15 minutes and then the driver took the trailer away. I could not have been more relieved that we didn't have to go to plan B. U-Pack was always very friendly, clear, and accommodating. I tried, unsuccessfully to talk to my first U-Pack consultant because he was so helpful, but each and everyone was just as friendly and helpful after that. The ABF dispatch was also very friendly and helpful, as well as the drivers on each end. I can't say enough for them and would not hesitate to call them again. I will definitely be recommending them.
