I had hand surgery yesterday at UCI Placentia Linda and had a five-star experience. My doctor, Dr. Peter Birnbaum was amazing. I am 1 day post-op and am pain-free. Everyone, including the admissions desk, pre-op nurse ( who protected me from MRSA), orderly, the OR nurse who was especially gentile and kind, and post-op nurse were so caring and compassionate
The Anesthesiologist Dr. David Gutierrez was absolutely the best. He took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed each one with me. His kindness was beyond my expectations.
A big thank you to Dr. Birnbaum Dr. Gutierrez and all the staff at UCI Placentia Linda Hospital for making my surgery so much easier than I had anticipated.
I would highly recommend any and all of these providers without hesitation!
ED staff very good for as overworked they were. PA Soto needs to learn professional behavior and manners. You do not walk into a patient's room and say "what's your name". It's on the chart you should have read. He is also very difficult to understand. He comes off as a bully. My nurses Susanna, Emily and charge nurse Laura were EXCELLENT. CHRIS the X-Ray tech was kind and thoughtful.
