Best primary care physician since moving from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Had my Primary care Dr. L. Hill-Sakurai and recommended UCSF Lakeshore Family Medical Center to numerous co-workers, friends & family. Can't beat the ample parking and it is free and great Medical Staff Members.

If I could give it 0 stars I would do so in a heartbeat. If you are a cancer survivor specifically, DO NOT go here. I have been a cancer survivor since 2008 and all I wanted was to establish care with an after care doctor. My radiation oncologist recommended going to UCSF as they have "the best cancer care" in the Bay area. I established care with them last year and it has been nothing short of a medical nightmare. From doctors who refuse to call you back, to doctors that claim they're able to diagnose if you have a tumor without even doing bloodwork or checking lab scans, to doctors who won't mark your upcoming mammography exam as urgent when you have symptoms, to doctors that tell you in November 2018 that they will put you in contact with an after care doctor, only to tell you in March when you come to find out that it's not even the right type of doctor. Apparently the final straw for me was a doctor saying they were going to call me back after looking into if there was a better option than a hematologoist. This is now over 2 weeks ago and there has not been a call back. Also, news flash, you don't send cancer survivors to a hematologist. You send them to a high risk clinic to establish care with a Breast Cancer Surgeon because they know what signs to look for and specialize in this. Never going here ever again. Avoid this place at all costs.

This place is pathetic! I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star. Everyone who works here is a robot especially the front desk. This is not a place of compassion. Every appointment that I had, I have to wait in the room between 30 mins to 1 hour, yet, if you’re a couple of minutes late, they won’t take you and send you home. Pathetic!!! This place should not have an appointment schedule because they cannot keep it, and front desk needs to be revamp and retrain those people.
