I’ve been a loyal Ulta Salon customer and Platinum member for years, spending a lot of money at this location. So, it’s extremely disappointing to write this after my recent experience.
A few months ago, I went in for a color service with Hayley, and she suggested I get a haircut. She cut my hair curly, and when I asked if it would look uneven when straight, she said no. However, when I straightened it, it was clearly uneven. The next day, I saw another stylist to fix it because Hayley wasn’t available, and she explained that fully correcting it she would be cutting off a lot more hair. I appreciated her honesty and left unsatisfied.
Before an important event, I asked Hayley to fix my bangs. She fit me in but was dismissive, insisting she didn’t see what was wrong, even though it was obviously uneven to a non-specialist. I left feeling hurt and disrespected.
Recently, I booked another bang trim with a different stylist, only to receive a call saying I’m no longer welcome to book appointments at this location. After all my loyalty and money spent, and being extremely patient and understanding of an unpleasant experience feels incredibly unfair.
I’m writing this to express my disappointment especially with salon management. It’s one thing to have a bad service, but being treated like this after years of loyalty is really disheartening. I expected better from Ulta.
